Here are my sketchbooks. I do all my research, planning and development in them, allowing me to play with materials , objects and ideaologies in order to reach a creative outcome. The sketchbooks are categorized by their project titles.

There is only one sketchbook up at the moment, it takes a very long time to digitise and upload each one. More will be following shortly so stay tuned for updates!

Dieter Roth

This project had me looking at a the works of Dieter Roth - an extremely prolific German artist of the 21st Century. I had to study his work and deconstruct it with the aim of creating similarly themed pieces myself. I found this project tedious at first but soon fell in love with it and I produced a lot of interesting work. I started by looking some books and noting down my thoughts on his paintings, sculptures, collages, drawings, films - pretty much every facet of art which he studied! Later in the project I began looking at legibility and semantics in graphic design, whether the words or their meanings have different or similar impacts and then how individuals can respond to these factors.
